WELCOME TO COOKING WITH POO AND FRIENDS A THAI COOKING SCHOOL IN THE KLONG TOEY SLUM, RUN BY THE WORLD RENOWNED KHUN POO
Join one of our cooking classes for a real grass roots experience where you learn to master a couple of Thai dishes while encountering life within the Klong Toey community. After pick up at 8:30 am in front of Emporium Shopping mall (Gucci Sign), we take you to the Klong Toey wet market. There you learn about the local Thai produce, much of which you will use and taste afterwards in your cooking class at our small cooking school in the slum

Khun Saiyuud Diwong, affectionately known as Poo (short for "Chompoo" or rose apple), is a long-time resident of Klong Toey, the largest slum in Bangkok. In late 2007, as the price of rice in Thailand doubled, she found that she could no longer make a living selling food from her house

After pick up customers, we take you to the Klong Toey wet market. There you learn about the local Thai produce, much of which you will use and taste afterwards in our cooking class.
